24 Hour Read-A-Thon-Hour 14

I am so happy that I have so many comments and now have three followers. My husband and kids left for a Halloween-birthday party and I stayed home reading. The silence...It was truly golden. And say, "was" because they are here now! I have been reading for almost three hours...but finally finished Gut Feelings by Carnie Wilson. I read a total of 202 pages...I have been reading on my bed curled up with my 15 year-old throw that reads "Book Woman". My next book will be one of the short stories in Say You are One of Them, an Oprah book club selection. I read the first story so I will read the second one and then move on to one of my TBR. Before I continue reading, I am going to be a cheerleader for awhile. It will help me keep awake and makes me very happy!

  1. You're doing great! Thanks so much for stopping by to cheer me on. :)

  2. Woohoo! You’re doing a fabulous job! You’re not that far now! Just another hour or eight! Have fun with your reading!

  3. congratulations on making this far!

  4. I lost the entire message I just left you let me try 1 more time: I am too much of an under-rested mess today to make it to the Scott Westerfeld event tonight but I am going to give your blog URL to a few fellow bloggers who will be going & hopefully you guys can meet up! If you go please take pictures & post them so I can attend vicariously thru you! :o) I have a bunch some info for you about book blogging - I am relatatively new at it also but have gathered some valuable resources - So remind me - just in case I am too tired right now to promise I will not need reminding. Not all there/here at the moment. Twitter has been invaluable in gaining resources for book blogging: Please contact me on twitter @BookobsessedGrl - make sure you send me a note & tell me who you are because I don't auto-follow anyone. :o) I will be going to the Miami International Book Fair & will be blogging about it too. Talk to you soon!

Please ignore the Google/Blogger account that links to me when I post - it is only there for use in leaving comments - originally set up because I couln't decide between Wordpress & Google.
